This project began more than two decades ago and is rooted in the everyday moments of our lives — those that feel so ordinary they sometimes become invisible. It is a personal project in which my family takes the leading role in the stories we have built together, stories that over time shape a place called home.

In my photographs, I seek to reveal the deepest part of them — what makes them strong and fragile at the same time. I look for that essence in their gazes, one that transforms over the years as each begins to follow their own path. These old negatives may become the only witnesses to that past.

This body of work is built over time. It is my way of collecting those moments I once believed were mine, but are nothing more than a loan — one that, in time, will have to be returned.
